Ninja Squirrels . . . and House

So, tonight the House writers showed support for my long term love of ninja squirrels.  That's right ninja squirrels.  I was once (naively) allowed to be artistic director of my college yearbook.  Theme . . . ninja squirrels.  Yes, I made squirrel comics.  They were great . . . luckily I went to a liberal arts college for undergrad so everyone was equally insane.  I don't have a picture of this to upload for you.  Maybe I'll get to this sometime and you'll see . . .

Back to House or the writers who support my love of ninja squirrels.  Tonight's House was a bit weird.  In the end I think it mainly works.  The dream sequences were pretty fun.  I mean zombies are pretty fun. The musical dream was the best.  Creepy singing is always awesome.  It was a bit of a heavy episode though.

I just want to put it out there that I've been a supporter of the House and Cuddy relationship since the beginning.  I like their dynamic and said since the beginning of the show that she was the only woman (on the show, there are more of us in life) that was strong enough to be with him.  However, I feel the writers are using the relationship to jerk us around a bit.  I don't think it is the end and I think he can sober back up.  I really enjoy House and feel this season is better than last season.  If you've not watched House you should start at the beginning and catch up.

WIN!

And the Packers Win the Superbowl!
Clay Mathews and Aaron Rodgers
I must say I'm very excited by the win though, I was a bit nervous at times.  Particularly when we had so many injuries.  But, they pulled it off!  I really dislike Roethlisberger (and his sexual assault charges), so I'm extra glad he lost.  Though I must say Mike Tomlin is the best looking coach in the league.
Nice Glasses
Apart for the very exciting win (Go Pack Go) we also got a new episode of Glee!  With zombie football players! Yay! Overall, it was a very good night!

Crochet Projects: Zombie Mushrooms

I made up some more Christmas presents using my crocheting skills.  I found a basic pattern for a mushroom and then adapted it to make . . . Zombie Mushrooms!
Headlight is on the left and Mutt is on the the right

Originally they were going to be happy mushrooms, but I had a craft supply issue that resulted in these zombie mushrooms.  I think they are more awesome than what I originally planned.

I love crocheting plushies.  There is a wealth of online patterns available if you search for them. Happy searching!

Yumm . . . Brains

I love crocheting and I am always looking for fun new projects. I love making things rather than accruing a great and great number of scarves. Upon discovering the creepy cute book I knew I needed to make a zombie for nagem!

Crochet Zombie

This pattern was surprisingly confusing, but it turned out in theend. I had to adjust the pattern due to the fact that I used different sized yarn then recommended. I would not have been able to figure out how to attach the hair without the help of the authors website. I did not buy the special hairpin, but instead used a piece of cardboard that I cut to size. this worked quite well and was inexpensive. I will attempt more patterns from this book despite it being more difficult than anticipated!
